Made for ADHD brains

One step. One sprint. That's the whole app.

You've known about this task for days. Startklar doesn't ask you to plan it. It asks what your hands do first.

Coming to the App Store

Not a medical device. Startklar replaces neither therapy nor advice.

How a task gets started

1

Shrink it

Type the task the way it sits in your head. Apple Intelligence proposes three first steps on your device, and you take one or write your own.

2

Commit

Your step becomes an if-then sentence: when I press Start, I will do this. Same shape every time, so there's nothing to compose.

3

Sprint

Four lengths, no custom picker: 5, 10, 15 or 25 minutes. The countdown then lives on the lock screen and rings through a Focus, so it stays with you when the phone goes face down.

4

Say it's done

Nothing gets marked done for you. Startklar times the step but never asks you to guess first, so there's nothing to score you against.

Five iPhone screens, start to finish

  1. The Startklar home screen, with tasks grouped under Today and Later.

Today and Later. Nothing overdue, nothing red.

  2. The One step screen, offering three suggested first steps for a task.

Three first steps, suggested on the device.

  3. The Ready screen, with an if-then sentence, duration chips and a Start button.

One if-then sentence, one duration, one button.

  4. An iPhone lock screen showing the Startklar countdown notification.

The countdown on the lock screen, where you left the phone.

  5. The Step done screen, offering five more minutes, next step, or enough for now.

You say when the step is done. Startklar never guesses.

Startklar collects nothing

No account, no analytics, no server. Your tasks, steps and sprints sit on your phone, and the step suggestions are generated right there: Apple Intelligence writes them on the device, so the text of your tasks never leaves it. Delete the app and all of it goes too.

Free, with one cap

All of this is free, as often as you want it. Only the suggestions are capped: one round a day. Pro makes them unlimited and changes nothing else.

Try it before the app ships.
