DevOps & Infrastructure

DevOps consulting for teams that outgrew Friday-night deploys.

32% of cloud spend is wasted. In most SMBs, one person knows the deploy process and prays on Fridays. We build CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability for teams of 3-15 engineers. EU-hosted on Hetzner or AWS Frankfurt. Fixed-price after a two-week audit.

What we build

CI/CD pipelines that actually ship

GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD, Argo Rollouts. Push to main, tests run, staging deploys, you approve, production goes live. Rollback in under 60 seconds. No more two-hour deploys with three people watching a terminal.

Kubernetes consulting, right-sized

Clusters on AWS EKS, GKE, or self-managed k3s. Helm, Argo CD, Kustomize. Sized for teams of 3-15 engineers, not 50-node enterprise. We've migrated workloads off ECS, Heroku, and bare EC2.

Cloud cost optimization

32% of cloud spend is waste. We audit AWS, Azure, and GCP bills and cut 25-40% in the first month: idle instances, oversized databases, forgotten snapshots, dangling EBS volumes. Real euros back in your budget.

Infrastructure as code

Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible. Your entire stack in version control. Spin up staging in 10 minutes. Reproduce production exactly. No more "it works on my machine" or tribal server-config knowledge.

Observability that prevents fires

Grafana, Prometheus, Loki for self-hosted. Datadog or Sentry when you'd rather pay. Dashboards your team actually checks. Alerts that mean something, not 47 warnings nobody reads.

EU-hosted infrastructure with GDPR

Hetzner, IONOS, OVH, or AWS Frankfurt with data processing agreements in place. Disaster recovery drills, encrypted backups, runbook documentation. You stay GDPR-compliant without the legal headache.

How we work

1

Audit

We profile your deploys, crawl your cloud bill, and map every integration point. You get a prioritized fix list ranked by impact and effort. Most teams have 3-5 quick wins hiding in their AWS bill. One week. Fixed price.

2

Build

CI/CD ships first. Then Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure, then Kubernetes (if it fits), then observability and alerting. Everything in Git. Your engineers review every PR so they own the system after handoff.

3

Harden

Load tests, failover drills, runbook docs. We break things on purpose so your team handles real outages calmly. Handoff includes paired training on your actual cluster, not generic slides.

What to expect

Timeline

4-10 weeks

CI/CD pipelines ship in 2-3 weeks. Full infrastructure overhauls with migration take 8-12.

Investment

From EUR 15,000

Fixed after audit. Most clients recoup it within 6 months through cloud savings and prevented downtime alone.

Your involvement

2-4 hrs/week

Weekly syncs, access to your cloud accounts, and one person who can answer "why is this server here?"

Technology

Infrastructure you can reproduce

Everything in code. Version-controlled. EU-hosted by default. Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Hetzner or AWS Frankfurt for hosting. Your next hire understands the setup on day one.

Common questions

What DevOps tools do you use?

Docker and Kubernetes for containers. Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code. GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Argo CD for Kubernetes deployments. Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for self-hosted observability. AWS or Hetzner for hosting, depending on data-residency and budget. We pick stacks your team can run after handoff, not stacks we already know.

Are you AWS Premier or Azure-certified partners?

No. We're a DevOps consulting team, not a cloud reseller. That means we'll tell you when AWS managed services are the right call and when Hetzner with Docker does the same job at half the cost. Vendor-neutral by design. If you need a partner badge for procurement, we can recommend trusted ones.

When does Hetzner beat AWS?

For European workloads under ~10TB monthly egress and standard relational databases, Hetzner runs at 30-60% of AWS pricing with sub-millisecond Frankfurt latency. AWS still wins when you need SQS, Lambda, EKS multi-region, or specific managed services. We've migrated workloads both directions and can tell you which side of the line you sit on.

Do we actually need Kubernetes?

Usually no. Docker Compose on a Hetzner CPX31 or a managed container runtime (AWS ECS, Cloud Run, Fly.io) covers most teams under 15 engineers. We only recommend Kubernetes when you're running 10+ services with real autoscaling needs. If your setup is one app on three servers, Kubernetes solves a problem you don't have.

How is DevOps consulting different from managed DevOps services?

Consulting means we build the pipelines and you run them. Your engineers approve every PR, own every Terraform module, and understand every alert by handoff. Managed services keep the infrastructure as someone else's secret. Pick consulting if you want internal capability. Pick managed if you want to outsource the problem forever. Fuller breakdown: DevOps for SMBs without a platform team.

What does a DevOps consulting engagement cost?

A two-week audit is fixed at EUR 3,000. Full engagements run EUR 15,000 to EUR 60,000 depending on scope: CI/CD-only is the low end, full migration with Kubernetes is the high end. Fixed-price quotes after the audit. No hourly billing, no scope-creep surprises. Most clients recoup the cost within 6 months through cloud savings and prevented downtime.

Stop deploying on a prayer.

Send us your cloud bill. In a week you'll have a prioritized fix list with savings estimates, a deploy-process audit, and a what-breaks-first review. No sales call required to see the report.
